Upcoming elections matter, so make your voice heard.
The 2022 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022. All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested.
The 2024 United States presidential is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.
Voter registration is easy so act now if you need help. You can visit or mail your application request to the Montgomery County Courthouse at 100 E. Main St., Crawfordsville, IN 47933 or contact them by calling 765-364-6437.
You can obtain a government issued photo identification card (Indiana ID card for $9 or Indiana Driver License for $17.50) at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, 1629 Eastway Drive, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. Further information can be found online at https://www.in.gov/bmv.
With all the rhetoric about “voter suppression” it is good to know you have more than one year to complete the process if necessary.
As Edmund Burke once said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing.”
