Letter: Resident believes new leadership needed

Posted

If Mayor Todd Barton and the city council members were more concerned about getting a new grocery store on the east side for the citizens of Crawfordsville that would be great. It seems money issues, such as raises, is all that matters. It has been 18 months since Kroger closed on the city’s east side. Nothing has happened since.

One more topic while I’m venting, why didn’t our elected officials try to bring Tempur Pedic to the industrial park north of Crawfordsville, instead of the current location, which is causing many problems.

City and county residents, remember this in our upcoming elections. It is definitely time for new leadership.

Richard Sherman
