In recent months there has been a disturbing criticism of the police in many cities. We are so grateful for the police force in Crawfordsville who work diligently to maintain law and order here. Their work is particularly difficult during
these trying times.
When I was a teenager, several decades ago, I admired the local policemen. I don’t remember all the names, but
I do remember John Siamas, Kenny Cave, and especially Jack Clements. These were honorable men who made our community a safe place.
I’m sure the current police force is honorable too and we should express our appreciation personally when we have the opportunity.
