I’m very excited about the newly finished Brickyard Nature Park. I’ve already walked it several times in the last few weeks. It’s very accessible for all, even has an ADA paved trail. It’s a step into nature within reach of everyone in town. It’s located on Concord Road, around the curve from Wellbrooke.
One problem I have encountered, however, is dog walkers who assume that everyone wants to be approached by their untethered, unrestrained dog. Please leave your pet on its leash when near other walkers, and if you can’t restrain your dog, walk somewhere else.
Thank you, Mayor Barton, for making this little patch of woods available to us as a park.
