I write to enthusiastically offer my support to Chris Redmaster for Superior Court 2 Judge. He is running as an independent this year after serving the Montgomery County community for decades as a local attorney.
Redmaster and his wife, Sharon, were some of the first people we met when our family moved to Crawfordsville 22 years ago. We worshipped with the Redmasters, served on a mission trip with them, and through our time together, became friends. Chris has an incredible family; a wife who is an educator for children with special needs, and two brilliant and compassionate daughters who continue to be some of my favorite young adults. He is now a grandfather, and if you run into him on the street, he will certainly share a picture of his grandson whether you ask or not.
While I hold the Redmaster family in highest regard, the reason I support him is because of his professionalism, experience and integrity. Through his longstanding relationships with community stakeholders, he has demonstrated commitment to our county and its citizens. I especially appreciate that Redmaster is running as an independent, because I believe that a judge’s decisions should be considered, researched and non-partisan. He has the wisdom to listen and render a decision based on the facts presented to him, and also with compassion. He will be an excellent public servant who will prioritize the interests of our community above all else.
I hope readers of this letter will get to know Redmaster, realize how exciting it is to have a candidate for judge whose motto is “Independent and Impartial,” and take the opportunity to evaluate his credentials separate from our otherwise partisan paradigm. He will serve with honesty, integrity and most definitely a smile. Please give him your vote.
