Letter: Stricter cleanliness rules need for restaurants

Posted

With the new virus to contend with, the eating facilities in Crawfordsville, need to be aware that their level of cleaning has been an issue for some time. Even when new buildings are replacing old ones it is no time at all the it is obvious that no one is spending time to keep it clean. Dirt and grime build up in corners and on doors and back of chairs, It makes it very hard to ignore and go in and eat. There should be stricter rules on the level of cleanliness in eating places. I worked three years in a high school cafeteria and the level of cleaning was enforced every day. That should be the same for every place food is served.
