I don’t understand the outrage concerning Father Alexis Miller’s statement regarding “Joe Biden is not my President.” Just a short four years ago, it seems like everyone was shouting “Donald Trump is not my President” from the rooftops, often to wide and thunderous acclaim.
Memories are short but the internet is forever.
Everything that has been said or done against Trump or his supporters has now set the precedent for how one is expected and allowed to behave following an election where the “wrong candidate” wins.
There is plenty of evidence that the election was manipulated by Facebook, Twitter, Google and the mainstream press if we will just take our blinders off. Facebook and Twitter even admitted to Congress that they suppressed the Hunter Biden story, but they were doing it for our own good.
Trump supporters won’t be screaming at the sky, because that would be silly. We won’t be parading around in pink hats, because that would be even sillier. Trump supporters won’t be rioting or looting because we have jobs and responsibilities and just don’t have time for that.
What Trump supporters will be doing is this: We will hug our families. We will go to church. We will drive our cars and trucks. We will do our jobs. We will love our neighbors. We will love our country and we will live our lives.
Donald Trump didn’t teach us how to do these things, but he did teach us something about style, having a spine and standing up for what we believe in.
Don’t tell us that now is the time for unity. The time for unity was four years ago.
