LINDEN — Help the families in North Carolina who have lost so much due to Hurricane Helene’s destruction. Children there are in desperate need of shoes and socks this winter. Drop off new children/teen socks or shoes at Linden Carnegie Public Library or Pleasant Hill Elementary School now through Jan. 22.
Library hours are 1-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thurday; and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m. Saturday.
