Lisa Ann Heath, beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024 at the age of 67. Her passing leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Now she is completely healed and dancing on streets of gold in Heaven with her savior Jesus Christ.

Born on June 29 in Indianapolis, Lisa was the cherished child of Edward Alfred Noel Jones and Katherine Louise Jones. She grew up in Southport, Indiana, where she developed a love for plants, photography, reading, and writing. Lisa attended Southport High School and graduated in 1975 and received an associate’s degree from Ivy Tech State College.

Lisa’s greatest joy in life was her family. She married James Kevin Wilson, on Dec. 12, 1977, and had three beautiful children. She was a devoted and loving mother to Joshua Wilson, Jacob Wilson and Jamie Selby, whom she adored more than anything. She also loved her four grandchildren deeply and cherished the moments she had watching them grow. She nurtured her children and grandchildren with kindness, wisdom, and a strength in her Christian faith that inspired everyone around her. Her love and encouragement will live on in their hearts forever.

Known for her compassionate heart, selfless generosity and uncanny humor, Lisa brought light to every room she entered. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel special and valued. Her friends and family will always remember her as a loving mother and a loyal friend.

Lisa loved to write poetry and was a published author in multiple publications. She was also a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church for many years.

She is survived by her children, Joshua Wilson, Jacob and Brooke Wilson and Jamie and Aaron Selby; her grandchildren, Luna Wilson, Nash and Crew Wilson, who will forever cherish the beautiful memories they shared with her.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine, and grandson Knox Wilson.

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held Monday, Dec. 16 at Woodland Heights Christian Church, with visitation from 3-5 p.m. followed by a short service. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor her memory and share stories of the incredible person she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League in Lisa’s honor.

Lisa Ann Heath’s legacy of love, kindness and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will remain a guiding light in the lives of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
