Lisa Kate (Myers) Smith, 50, of Veedersburg passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.
She was born Nov. 25, 1970, at Crawfordsville, to the late Gary Warrick and Elaine (Myers) Freed.
Lisa graduated from Fountain Central High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana State University. On March 13, 2008, she married Rusty Lee Smith, who survives. Throughout the years, she worked at the Kingman IGA, and was a graphic artist at Vermillion Advantage and Commercial News in Danville, Illinois, and Journal Review in Crawfordsville. She loved the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting and riding motorcycles.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Rusty Smith of Veedersburg; six step-children, Emily, Sarah, Rachel, Tina, Justin and Zachary; many grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Russell and Phyllis Smith; and two sisters-in-law, Mona Norman and Stacey Smith.
Cremation was chosen with a private family gathering at a later date. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care.
