Gunderman, Medley complete diving seasons at regional
Fountain Central’s Eric Medley and North Montgomery’s Stevie Gunderman saw their diving careers come to an end on Tuesday night at the Brownsburg diving regional.
Medley finished 13th overall with a mark of 228.4, while Gunderman was 20th with a score of 172.7.
The top-8 individuals advanced to Saturday’s state finals. New Palestine’s Colin Stacey was the champion with a mark of 530.45.
Mounties fall to Wolves
The Southmont boys’ basketball team fell to Parke Heritage 62-45 on Tuesday night.
Logan Oppy led the Mounties with 15 points.
Southmont is 6-14 on the season, and concludes its regular season with a trip to Indianapolis Scecina on Friday.
Mustangs fall to Gophers
The Fountain Central boys’ basketball team dropped its regular season finale 59-25 to Clinton Prairie on Tuesday.
The Mustangs finsih the regular season 10-14 and play Western Boone in the sectional.
