Mounties win at Harrison Hills
The Southmont golf team fired a 180 at Harrison Hills on Thursday night — beating Covington (193) and Seeger (198).
Nolan Allen led the Mounties with a 40, Micah Korhorn fired a 43, Luke Tesmer a 48 and Carson McKinney a 49.

Mountie tennis sweeps Attica
The Southmont girls’ tennis team swept Attica 5-0 on Thursday.
Hanna Long won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while Marley Jones won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Emma Mitchell won by default at the No. 3 position.
Megan Scheidler and Bailey Barker won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, while Dori Frederick and Chaney Scott won by default at No. 2 doubles.
Mustang picks up road win
The Fountain Central girls’ tennis team traveled to Benton Central and won 3-2.
Lillie Fishero defeated Jenna Fleming 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Haley Webb beat Kinlyn Yadon 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 2 position and Angela Gonzalez beat Amsley Harrell 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 3 spot.
Emily Jimenez and Paige Scheurich fell to Lilly Cobb and Devan Plummer 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, while Tyler Bowling and Marylee Muniz fell to Paige Creel amd Rachel Tolen 4-6, 7-5(1), 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
