Mounties edge Tiger Cubs
The Southmont girls soccer team defeated Greencastle Thursday night 3-2. Lillie Odum, Hanna Nichols, Jordan Stanley all scored for the Mounties in the win. With the win Southmont improves to 5-2-1 on the season. Up next will be a county matchup with the Chargers on Saturday afternoon.
Bacon leads Chargers past Cougars
Teegan Bacon scored all five goals for the North Montgomery girls soccer team in a 5-4 win over North Putnam. Lydia Dugard had two assist while Marisa Moffit and Paityn Church added one assist each. The Chargers improve to 2-1 on the season and will welcome county rival Southmont to North Montgomery on Saturday.

Athenians pick up another OT win
The Crawfordsville boys soccer team celebrated senior night with 1-0 OT win versus conference foe Frankfort. The win improves the Athenians record to 6-1-1 on the season. They will travel to Benton Central on Monday.

Mustangs win again vs Warriors
Fountain Central picked up a 4-1 win against Danville Thursday night. Skyler Hoagland was victorious 6-1, 7-5 at one singles and Gabe McCollum picked up a 5-7, 6-5, 13-11 win at two singles. The tandem Carter Merryman and Brayden Pickett won at one doubles 6-1, 6-1, and Wes Jackson and Koby Wolf took home a 6-1, 6-1 at two doubles.
Fountain Central (5-2, 1-1) participates in the Bi-County Tournament at Seeger on Saturday. Match play begins at 9:00 am.
Athenians make it two in a row vs Stars
Crawfordsville picked up its second straight conference win over Western Boone 3-2.
Mounties blank South Putnam
Southmont defeated South Putnam Thursday night 5-0 to improve to 8-2 (3-0 SAC) on the season. The Mounties return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Covington.
Chargers pick up first win
North Montgomery picked up its first win of the season with a 3-2 win over Greencastle. Will McKinniss at one singles, Owen Utterback at three singles, and the team of Brookes Walters and Nate McCoy at one doubles picked up the wins for the Chargers

Mounties win five-team meet at Rivercrest
Southmont girls golf brought home a first place finish in a five team meet at Rivercrest Thursday night with a score of 204. Freshman Addison Meadows took home medalist with a 38. Macie Shirk shot a 53, Kelsey Thompson added a 54, Taylor Grino shot a 59 and Yasa Deverall recorded a 60.
Fountain Central placed fourth with a 241. Cassadi Parks and Nola Walls led the way for the Mustangs by each carding a 58. Aubrey Hicks added a 62, Emily Keeling a 63, and Hannah Parks shot a 70.
The Mounties will compete in the Sagamore Conference meet Saturday morning at the Crawfordsville Country Club.
