BOYS SOCCER: Athenians beat Bison
The Crawfordsville boys’ soccer team scored a late goal to defeat Benton Central 2-1 on Monday night.
Emmett Bowman scored both goals for the Athenians, while Kevin Barrera had an assist, and Landon Timmons had 15 saves.
BOYS TENNIS: Mustangs sweep Patriots
The Fountain Central boys’ tennis team swept WRC foe Seeger 5-0 on Monday.
Carson Eberly defeated Christian Holland 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, while Cody Linville beat Thomas Lemming 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Sawyer Keeling beat Nick Turner 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 3 position.
The duo of Jacob Keeling and CJ Yager beat Drew Holland and Logan McFatridge 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, while Brent Myers and Brayden Prickett beat Shawn Grady and Kaiden Peterson 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
GIRLS GOLF: Athenians win at Harrison Hills
The Crawfordsville girls’ golf team fired a 206 at Harrison Hills on Monday night, defeating Covington (238) and Seeger (239).
Bailey Mittal led the Athenians with a 42, Evie Redding shot a 49, Gwyn Redding a 56, and Carli Payne a 59. Sadie Walker shot a 61.
GIRLS GOLF: Chargers beat Bruins
The North Montgomery girls’ golf team defeated Tri-West 193-196 on Monday night at Rocky Ridge. Grace Shrader led the Chargers with a 45, while Grace Littell fired a 46, and Morgan Swick and Ella Stultz each shot 51s. Maggie Yeager fired a 55, Shayna Ratcliff a 56 and Rylie Koopman a 62.

The Southmont girls’ soccer team was shutout 8-0 by Sagamore Conference foe Tri-West on Monday.
VOLLEYBALL: Athenians sweep Knights
The Crawfordsville volleyball team swept Lafayette Central Catholic (25-15, 25-21, 25-15) on Monday night.
Macy Bruton led the Athenians with 18 kills, seven digs and an ace, while Laine Schlicher had 15 assists, 13 digs and two aces.
Shea Williamson added 12 digs, six assists, and two aces, while Olivia Reed had 11 digs, two assists and an ace. Hallie Gayler had four blocks and three kills, while Alyx Bannon added six kills and two blocks, and Allyson Barton had four digs and Liddy McCarty a dig.
VOLLEYBALL: Bruins sweep Chargers
The North Montgomery volleyball team fell to Tri-West 3-0 (25-8, 25-9, 25-17) on Monday night.
