Athenians knock off Stars

The Crawfordsville baseball team beat Sagamore Conference foe Western Boone 6-3 on Tuesday night.

Bryce Dowell led the Athenians with three hits. Cale Coursey picked up the win on the mound.

Mustangs beat Red Ramblers

The Fountain Central baseball team picked up a Wabash River Conference victory by defeating Attica 11-0 on Tuesday night.

Luke Foxworthy led the Mustangs with two hits. 

Lukas Miller and Carson Eberly teamed up to pitch a one-hit five-inning shutout from the mound.

Mounties, Warriors suspended due to rain

Southmont and Danville baseball was suspended after three innings on Tuesday.

The Mounties were trailing 6-1.

Athenians fall to Stars

The Crawfordsville softball team fell to Sagamore Conference foe Western Boone 11-1 on Tuesday.

Allyson Barton led the Athenians with two hits.

Chargers fall to Tigers

The North Montgomery softball team fell to Sagamore Conference rival Lebanon 18-1 on Tuesday night. Rachel Smith, Makinze Rominger, Lilly Shaw, and Jaymie Freeman each had hits for the Chargers.

Mounties win three-way

The Southmont boys’ golf team defeated Western Boone and North Putnam on Tuesday.

The Mounties (163) beat the Stars (182) and the Cougars (215).

Micah Korhorn and Nolan Allen were co-medalists with low scores of 40. Harrison Haddock shot a 44, Carson McKinney a 45, and Luke Tesmer a 49. Tanner Walls shot a 49, Briley Bennett a 52 and Gabriel Little 58.

Chargers fall to Tigers

The North Montgomery boys’ golf team fell to Lebanon 163-203 on Tuesday night.

Meyer was the medalist with a 39 for the Tigers.

Hayden Turner and Alex Chapman led the Chargers with 47s, while Haze Kashon, Thomas Fritzen and Drew Norman each fired 55s. Jacob Hughes a 58, Colin Campbell a 59 and Landon Birge a 64.
