BOYS SOCCER: South ties with Cascade

The Southmont boys’ soccer team tied with Cascade 1-1 on Monday night.

Luke McElwee scored the Mounties’ lone goal on a Christian Worth corner kick.

BOYS TENNIS: Athenians fall to Red Devils

The Crawfordsville boys’ tennis team fell 5-0 to West Lafayette on Monday.

Austin Motz lost 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles to Aidan William, while Thatcher Gambrel lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles to Jack Ma, and James Murphy lost 6-0, 6-1 to Kevin Xiang at No. 3 singles.

Zack Fichter and Ziair Morgan lost 6-0, 6-0 to Zach Abrahamson and Arun Raman at No. 1 doubles, while the duo Thomas Bowling and James Novak lost 6-0, 6-0 to Shannon and Allen Tan at the No. 2 spot.

The North Montgomery boys’ tennis team fell 5-0 to Sagamore Conference champion Western Boone.

GIRLS SOCCER: Chargers lose to Bruins

The North Montgomery girls’ soccer team dropped a 8-3 Sagamore Conference match to Tri-West on Monday.

The Chargers were outscored 5-1 in the first half.

Teegan Bacon, Sidney Campbell, and Nina Gable all scored goals for the Chargers.

VOLLEYBALL: Mustangs fall to Hot Dogs

The Fountain Central volleyball team fell to Frankfort 3-0 (25-23, 25-9. 25-12) on Monday night.

Chloe Golia led the Mustangs with seven kills.
