Mustangs send runners to regional
The Fountain Central boys’ track and field team will be well represented at the Lafayette Jeff Regional this week.
Last Thursday, Hayden Kler won the two-mile run at the Benton Central Sectional with a time of 10:36.63.
Dan and Luke Adams both advanced in the 110 and 300 hurdles. Dan was second in the 110s with a time of 16.97 seconds and Luke was third with a time of 17.15 seconds. Dan was alos second in the 300 meter hurdles in 43.84 seconds, while Luke was third in 44.60 seconds.
The foursoem of Austin Pickett, Isaac Gayler, Layen Lynch, and Luke Adams placed third in the 4X100 meter relay with a time of 47.7 seconds.
Mustangs fall in finale
The Fountain Central sofball team fell to Covington 22-6 in its regular season finale on Saturday.
Maddie Medley had two hits and three RBI in the loss, while Marley Massey and Kacey Kirkpatrick each had two hits.
FC beats Attica
The Fountain Central baseball team completed its regular season on Friday with an 18-8 win over Attica.
CJ Yager had four hits, while Carson Eberly, Owen Acton, and Luke Foxworthy each had three hits.
Chargers fall to Raiders
The North Montgomery baseball team fell 2-1 to Harrison on Saturday.
Jakob Kirsch, Ross Dyson, and Brayden Martin had the lone three hits for the Chargers.
