Disney’s Frozen Jr. is on stage at the Vanity Theater and tickets were a sell out opening week. An adaptation from the 2018 Broadway musical, Frozen Jr. brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life onstage. The show features memorable songs from the animated film and is a family friendly production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.

The show has an amazing cast and crew of more than 30 local, talented youth. The stunning Miciah Maish takes on the role of Elsa as she is set to be the newly coronated Queen of Arendelle. Noelle Froerer gives a knock out performance as the Princess Anna, the younger sister. Olaf is played by Madilyn Biddle, while the roles of Kristoff and Hans are delivered by Jack Sweet and Nathan Woosley, respectively.

The cast is rounded by Carter Scott (Sven), Tovi Powell (King Agnarr), Madelyn Schnelle (Queen Iduna), Haley King (Pabbie), Lily Baldwin (Bulda), Avery Hannum (Bishop), Alicia France (Weselton) and Shaeleigh Hreskowsky (Oaken). Complimenting the cast are a large group of younger actors serving as the snowflake chorus, trolls, hygee and Olaf’s friends.

No strangers to the Sugar Creek Players, director Jennie Swick and choreographer Lisa Warren have made the show something to not be missed. The producer Nate Baldwin secured strong supporting members in the technical and stage crew to enhance the performances. Show sponsor, McGowan Insurance Group, added financial support to the production.

With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart.

The last four shows are 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are limited.
