“Understanding the African-American Experience” will be presented by Steven L. Jones at the Lunch with the League held noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Whitlock Room of St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Jones is Dean for Professional Development and Director of Malcolm X Institute Black Studies at Wabash College. The Malcolm X Institute at Wabash College ensures that the African-American experience remains as an integral academic/cultural resource at Wabash College.
The institute offers a variety of programs, experiences and resources not only to Wabash students but several to the general public as well. Come to the lunch and learn how the MXIBS strengthens our community and makes it a better place to work and live.
The Lunch with the League series is conducted as a free public informational service provided by the League of Women Voters. Attendees should bring their own sack lunch and reservations are not required.
