The public is invited to Lunch with the League at noon Friday. Dr. Scott Douglas, County Health Officer for the Montgomery County Health Department, will be the featured speaker.
Douglas will talk about the various services and programs offered by the department, and, in particular, its vaccine program. In light of recent media attention on vaccines, Douglas will discuss the efficacy of vaccines to the community and address vaccine hesitancy.
Time will be reserved for questions. Lunch with the League will take place at Fusion 54, 101 W. Main St. Bring your lunch and enjoy this informative event.
Lunch with the League is a public information program of the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County and is offered to the public at no charge. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization.
