Marcus Ray Light, 46, of Ladoga passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, in the emergency room at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville.
He was born June 30, 1974, at Crawfordsville, to Marion Keith and Betty Lou (Howard) Light.
Marcus graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1992 and received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Marion University. On Oct. 23, 2010, he married the love of his life, Angie Page. Throughout the years he worked in finance at Etter Ford, North Park Credit Union and most recently Mariner Finance in Crawfordsville as the branch manager. He loved playing golf, coaching his son, Keegan, playing corn hole, loved campfires and bonfires, and was a huge IU and Colts fan. He was a great singer that had an infectious laugh and was always the life of the party. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by many.
He is survived by wife Angie of Ladoga; three sons, Tyler Bowman, Austin Bowman and Keegan Light; his parents, Keith and Betty Light; brother Tim Light of Crawfordsville; sister Terri (Darin) McMurry of Ft. Peck, Montana; mother-in-law Judy (Greg) Norman; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Ethan; brother Michael Light; and father-in-law Rick Page.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on Marcus’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Social distancing is expected and masks are required. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to “Keegan’s Account.” Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or donations may be deposited at Hoosier Heartland State Bank.
