Margaret F. Henley, 90, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, at 1019 Belle’s Place of Crawfordsville.
She was born on May 30, 1934, to Dawson Glenn and Dorothy Duncan in Vincennes, Indiana. Margaret married Roger Henley on Nov. 19, 1954, in Lafayette, spending 62 loving years together until his passing in 2016.
She was a member of the Marshall Federated Church, teaching Sunday School and active with the Bereavement Committee. Margaret was also a 50-year member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed knitting, reading and tending to the flower gardens.
Margaret is survived by her children, Susan Berry and Philip (Jill) Henley; grandchildren, Adrienne, Scott, Kelly, Karen, Kim and Jacob; nine great-grandchildren; and10 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Edith (Dean) Rush and Jack Duncan.
She is predeceased by her parents; husband Roger; grandson Tim Berry; brother Carl Duncan; and sister Rose Mary Barragree.
At Margaret’s request, a private family graveside service was held at Bethany Cemetery in Marshall, where she was laid to rest next to Roger.
