Margaret (Swank) Kidd, 91, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville.
Margaret was born May 5, 1929, in Montgomery County, to Benjamin Franklin and Velma (Layne) Swank.
Margaret graduated from New Market High School and worked at General Telephone Company and RR Donnelly as a proofreader. She loved collecting antique glassware, pottery and giraffe figurines. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by nieces, Beverly Bashia, Janis (Jim) Peacock and Pamela Blanchard; nephews, Steve, Stanley and Doug Swank; and many great nieces and nephews.
Margaret is also survived by her two best and loyal friends, Barbara Lidester and Sandi (Gary) Anderson. They talked to her every day and visited her often. No one had two more special friends!
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Helen; brothers, Chester, Byron and Donald Swank; and her infant daughter, Sue Lynn
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Grant Avenue Cemetery, with Pastor Terry Thompson officiating. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.
