Marilyn (Miene) Bozarth, 87, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023.
Marilyn was born Feb. 26, 1936, at Chicago, to Arthur and Lorraine Miene and grew up in Crawfordsville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Ball State University and taught one year before marrying Max Bozarth. Although she raised her children in Minnesota, she still considered herself a Hoosier.
After moving to Bella Vista to retire Marilyn participated in many activities including golf, Ladies Day Out and attending community performances. She loved to play cards and was in many different card groups. She was accomplished at cross stitch and made time every day to work on her projects.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Bozarth and Brad Bozarth, and her sister, Karen Stubbs.
A memorial service will be held at 1o a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista.
