Marion Keith Light of New Market passed away Friday morning, March 19, 2021, at Ben-Hur Health. He was 82.
Mr. Light served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Tipmont-REMC as an electrician and then was a car salesman for L.G. Etter and Sons. He was a member of the Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed being with family and friends most of all.
Born Dec. 14, 1938, at Ladoga, he was the son of Merle W. Light and Gertrude O. Blaydes Light. He graduated from Ladoga High School. In 1960, he married Betty L. Howard. She survives.
Surviving family includes: wife Betty Light of New Market; daughter Terri (Darin) McMurry of Montana; son Tim Light of Crawfordsville; daughter-in-law Angie Light; grandchildren, Jacob (Jayde) Light, Rachael Light, Hannah (Kyle) Barras, Tyler (Macy) Light, Colby Light, Kali Light and Abby Nusbaum; great-grandchildren, Gannon, Harlow and Tatum Light, Keely and Noah Barras, Charlie and Olivia Light, Keegan Light; and step-great grandchildren, Tyler and Austin.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Marcus Light.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 23 at Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene. Services will begin at 2 p.m., led by Pastor Ron Milburn. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, make donations in his memory to the Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene, 117 E. S.R. 234, Ladoga, IN 47954.
