Marion Wilford Rayphole, 76, of Kingman passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville.
He was born Oct. 7, 1944, at Danville, Illinois, to the late Harley and Lillian G. (Drake) Rayphole.
Marion graduated from Kingman High School in 1962 and married the love of his life, Connie Nichols, on Sept. 8, 1973, at Centennial Church. Throughout the years he worked at Horner’s Body Shop in Crawfordsville for 10 years and the Fountain County Highway Department as a mechanic for 31 years. He was a member of the Yeddo Masonic Lodge #636 and enjoyed working on antique tractors and gas engines, target shooting, and reading westerns.
He is survived by his wife, Connie of Kingman; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Davis and Sandy (Dale) Brandenburg; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of memorial service.
