Marjorie Lynne “Janie” Marriott, 73, of Waynetown passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, at home.
Janie was born Sept. 15, 1949, at Crawfordsville, the daughter of Arthur Raymond and Marjorie Crist Keller. Janie graduated from Alamo High School and later went to cosmetology school.
She married Charles Eugene Marriott on May 17, 1969. He preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Angie Marriott of Waynetown; granddaughters, Heather (Adam) Hampton of Crawfordsville, Kendra Marriott of Crawfordsville and Becca Marriott of Waynetown; and sister Polly (Randy) Britto of Hermosa Beach, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
It was Janie’s wish that she be cremated and her ashes buried near her husband in Arizona. There will be no local services at this time. Indiana Funeral Care of Indianapolis is assisting the family.
