Marjory June (Lane) Waye, 92, of Crawfordsville passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at the Lane House.
She was born Aug. 13, 1927, at Crawfordsville, to the late Paul Leon and Lola LaVaughn (McKinney) Lane.
Marjory attended Wingate schools and on Aug. 13, 1946, she married Charles G. Waye. He preceded her in death June 15, 1987. She was a loving mother and homemaker and worked in quality control for Weaver Popcorn in Linden after Charles passed away. She was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church and enjoyed knitting and sewing and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Stephen (Susan) Waye of Crawfordville, Ronald (Dianna) Waye of Waynetown and David (Cely) Waye of Avon; four grandchildren, Heather (John) Arle, Ryan (Stacey) Waye, Marcus Waye and Valerie (Kristoff) Cortez; six great-grandchildren, Eleanor Arle, Samuel Arle, Brandon Waye, Adam Waye, Ben Cortez and Bianca Cortez; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; two brothers, Kenneth and Eugene Lane; and sister Fannie Addler.
There will be a private family graveside service. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.
