Marlin Keith Hall, 81, of Veedersburg passed away at 1:33 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, at his residence, with his family at his side.

Keith was born Feb. 7, 1940, at Rock Springs, Wyoming, the son of the late Marlin Ray and Mary Catherine (Hutts) Hall. He married Anna Marie McCloud on April 10, 1960, in Fountain County. She preceded him in death Feb. 17, 2018. He is also preceded in death by brother Kenneth Ray Hall.

Surviving family include: sons, Steven (Lisa) Hall, Attica, and Danny (Teresa) Hall, Kingman; brothers, Robert (Betty) Hall, Carrolton, Illinois, and Larry (Bonnie) Hall, Veedersburg; and grandchildren, Andrew Hall, Alysha (Ross Hetrick) Hall, Eric Hall and Nicholas Hall.

Keith graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1959. As a young man he had worked at Harrison Steel, TeePak, and then started working out of Howard’s Appliance Store, Veedersburg, as an electrician. From there he started his own business, Keith Hall Electric. in the 1970’s; the same business now owned and operated by his sons.

Keith enjoyed working on projects around the house, and was very insistent that the projects were completed and completed correctly. He also enjoyed keeping up with his son’s business, and they could expect daily phone calls as he inquired about what they were currently working on. He enjoyed going on drives around the countryside with Anna; and they had traveled all around the American west, usually ending up in Wyoming. More than anything he loved and enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service at 1 p.m. Burial at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.
