Martha Jean Delp, 97, of Crawfordsville, previously of Grange Corner, Indiana, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021.

As the second child of Quaker parents, she accepted Christ into her heart and shared His love and grace with everyone she met. She passed peacefully in the arms of our savior and has been welcomed into glory as His good and faithful servant.

Martha was born July 28, 1924, to the late Lenny C. and Mary Pyle of Marshall. She married Ross L. Delp on April 30, 1944, at Marshall. He preceded her in death in January 2012.

She graduated from Marshall High School and attended Purdue University. She was a member of the Friends Union Church at Grange Corner then Freedom Church in Wallace.

Martha is survived by one sister, Henrietta Delp, Bloomington; two sons, Gregg (Dawn Wilson) of Greenwood and Chris (Cathi) of Lafayette; and six grandchildren, Keith Delp, Louisville, Kentucky, Nathan Delp, Louisville, Kentucky, Brian Delp (Allison), Waynetown, Kelly Delp, Crawfordsville, Christian Flynn (Brett) Greenwood and Kevin Sparks (Tiffany), Yuma, Arizona. She is also survived by four great grandchildren: Hope Delp, Hunter Delp, Haven Delp of Waynetown IN, and Zakk Sparks (Brooke) of Gilbert, AZ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Leonard Pyle; and son Eric (Diana) Delp.

A private service will be held. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Care is entrusted to Barnes and Rice Funeral Home of Rockville.
