The Montgomery County Health Department announced Tuesday five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total lab-confirmed cases to 259 since the first case was recorded in March. The MCHD also confirmed one death related to COVID-19, with 19 overall deaths in Montgomery County.
Contact investigations by the Indiana State Department of Health are underway in connection with the new cases.
