As residents may be aware from news reports and other media sources, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has approved the Moderna Booster and the mixing and matching of vaccine types for COVID-19.
The Montgomery County Health Department is currently waiting on full approval from the Indiana State Department of Health for recommendations and guidance to be able to administer the Moderna Booster vaccine. As MCHD receives more clarity and supplies from the state, officials will be sure to communicate developments to the community.
Anyone who is eligible for a booster is encouraged to make an appointment by registering at https://www.coronavirus.in.gov.
