MCHS plans fall trip to Michigan

The Montgomery County Historical Society is planning a fall trip to Mackinac Island, Michigan, including stops at Frankenmuth and the Upper Peninsula.

The five-day, four-night trip is slated for Sept. 18-22. Cost is $699 per person (double occupancy).

The package includes: four nights lodging; four breakfasts; one lunch; four full-course dinners, including Zehneder’s & Antlers; Soo Locks boat cruise; Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland; Frankenmuth Village Shops; horse-drawn carriage tour of the island; ferry ride; Grand Hotel visit; Tahquamenon Falls; Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum; Kewadin Shores Casino; souvenir gift; luggage handling; all taxes and meal gratuities; and motorcoach transportation.
