HILLSBORO — Up next in Myers Dinner Theatre’s 2020 season will be a new musical revue full of Christmas fun, opening at 6:30 p.m. Friday and running through 5 p.m. Dec. 20.
Featuring more than 25 of the most beloved Christmas songs from cinema, Hollywood, Hearth and Home is guaranteed to get you in the Christmas mood. This cornucopia of cherished music will be directed by MDT Artistic Director, Jeremy Littlejohn, with music direction by Travis Smith of Ohio, who directed and music directed our 2019 production of Steeple People: A Southern Gospel Comedy, and is responsible for the majority of our tracked music.
Joining Littlejohn and Smith will be a slew of returning MDT alumni, including Elsa Scott Besler of Missouri, Thomas J. Besler of Iowa, Travis Bird of Decatur, Don Hart of Columbia City, Sarah Hayes of Iowa, Kevin Ray Johnson of Minnesota and Lauren Morgan of New York. Joining them will be Rachael Henry Johnson of Florida, who is making her MDT debut.
Hollywood, Hearth and Home has weekday and Saturday matinees, seating for dinner at noon and curtain at 1:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday evening performances seat for dinner at 6 p.m. with curtain at 8 p.m. and Sunday twilight with seating for dinner at 5 p.m. and curtain at 6:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased by phone at 765-798-4902, ext. 2, or by visiting online at www.myersdt.com. Performance dates vary, so consult the MDT online calendar for show dates and times. Theatre prices are $44 for dinner and theatre, $32 for students (ages 4-18), and show-only for $30. Prices do not include taxes and handling fee. Group pricing and bus parking are also available.
