Runners and walkers will lace up on April 27 at First Christian Church Crawfordsville (Disciples of Christ) for a race benefitting international service work.
Now in its third year, the Global Ministries Mission Dash 5K Run/Walk raises money to support hundreds of churches and other groups in expanding access to education, health care, clean water and HIV/AIDS care, among other projects, across nearly 90 countries from Africa to Southern Asia.
Racers will step off at 8 a.m. from the church, 211 S. Walnut St., and loop around Crawfordsville’s west side.
Prizes will be awarded to top finishers and a continental breakfast offered to all participants at the church following the race.
Cost is $25 per participant or $60 per family, including a t-shirt. April 11 is the deadline to pre-register and receive a shirt. Same-day registration will also be available.
