Jim and Charlene Gobble recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.
They were married Oct. 9, 1959, in Edgewood Methodist Church at Indianapolis by Pastor Elijah Perkins.
Last year they visited Paris, France and the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial Battle Ground, where over 9,387 soldiers are buried.
They are the parents of Mark Gobble and Susan Julian and the grandparents of Sheriday, Sydney, Jake, Hannah and Elsie.
