Rick and Becky Haas are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The met on a blind date in 1968 and married on June 20, 1970. Rick’s grandfather married them in Lebanon and Becky’s grandfather gave her away.
Their greatest blessings are having two children, Darren (Tami) Haas of Crawfordsville, and Kambria (Dr. Steve) Harris of New Hampshire; and six grandchildren, Tayla, Demi and Hutton Haas and Hadley, Grant and Judson Harris.
Due to COVID-19, their anniversary trip to Alaska was postponed, but they hope to go out west later this year.
They will celebrate 3-5 p.m. June 20 by having a drive-by parade at their home, 18 Hickory Lane East, hosted by their family. Cards are welcome.
