James “Jim” and Ruth (Oliver) Leaming will celebrate their 50th anniversary 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Cornerstone Event Center, 221 S. Washington St.
They were married June 2, 1973, in the Log Cabin Church at Turkey Run State Park.
They are the parents of Nikki (John) Yates and Jordan (Mikki) Leaming of Crawfordsville, Hunter Leaming of Mace and Jameson (Emily) Leaming of Greenwood. They are blessed with seven grandchildren.
If you might be inclined to attend their funeral, they would prefer you attend this celebration instead. Please come for a piece of cake and reflect on highlights they may have forgotten over the past 50 years. No gifts, just remembrances.
