Bill and Pam McIntyre, Crawfordsville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a motorcycle trip to Bristol, Tennessee.
The couple met on Dec. 28, 1968, at the ages of 13 and 14 as students at Tuttle Middle School. They were married in the home of the Justice of the Peace, Larry Kadinger, on July 19, 1971. Several years after the wedding, Mr. Kadinger said, “I tied that knot pretty tight.”
The couple have three children, Billy (Gina) McIntyre, Missy (Greg) Carey and Casey (Dan) Murphy. They were blessed with eight grandchildren, Derrick and Dalton Scaggs, Bella and Beck McIntyre and Calinn, Kolie, Kinley and Carmin Murphy, and one great-grandson Chandler Scaggs. Son-in-law Jeff Scaggs passed away.
