Nicholas and Josephine (Witthoft) Shaw are celebrating 60 years of wedded bliss, that all started with that fateful kiss.
Mr. Right married Mrs. Always Right, March 19, 1960, at Chicago.
The newlyweds started a family and soon grew out of city life.
They found fun and adventure in suburbia, with an array of pets, a pool, paper routes, cookouts and great vacations.
The two raised five happy and healthy children, Micheal (Connie) of California, Joanne (Garry) of Illinois, David (Marcia) of Indiana, Kathryn (Nick) of Texas and Daniel of Indiana.
The clan expanded, each relocating throughout the country.
Some took on the challenge of marriage and offspring.
A total of 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
That’s no joke! Keeps everyone busy and sometimes broke.
Nick and Jo currently reside at Lake Holiday for a much deserved retirement.
They will be sharing their special day with family and friends.
