Fountian Central’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams both hit the floor on Saturday.
The girls won their fourth-straight game with a 53-37 win over South Newton. Dakota Borman scored a game-high 19 points, while Jerzi Hershberger and Gracie Foxworthy scored 12 points apiece.
The boys fell on the road to Sheridan 51-41. The Mustangs fell behind to the Blackhawks 26-16 at the half, and were unable to recover.
Andrew Shabi led Fountain Central with 11 points, while Will Harmon chipped in nine.
