Emory Allen was recently a Mystery Reader at Rainbows and Rhymes Preschool at the First United Methodist Church on Wabash Avenue. Each Friday morning a member of the community comes to the preschool to read a story to each preschool class. Allen also treated the students by playing her guitar and singing “You are My Sunshine.” She told the classes that every night when she was a little girl, her mom sang that song when she went to bed.
