Naomi “Sis” Wills, 83, of Lafayette passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born Aug. 13, 1937, at Crawfordsville, to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Taylor) McCollum. She attended Crawfordsville schools. In 1962 she married Roy Wills and he preceded her in death in 2002.

Sis enjoyed traveling out west, playing cards, cooking, fishing and playing the slot machines. Most of all Sis enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  Sis and her husband planted a large garden and spent many hours snapping green beans and canning vegetables. She is well known for her hospitality, always inviting you to stay for dinner or a glass of tea. Around her kitchen table, Sis loved to tell her stories, tease, joke and teach others how to cook. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughter Marcia McBride of Lafayette; three sons, Mike “Bunk” Bottorff of Crawfordsville, Gregory “Dale” (Tammy) Wills of New Richmond and Brian (Pat) Wills of Lafayette. She is also survived by sister Freida (Jeff) Larkin of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin, Stephanie and Breyanna; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Hester and Bev Welliver; and brother Junior McCollum.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Interment will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
