NEW RICHMOND — The annual New Richmond Fourth of July festivities have been canceled this year. Organizers believe it is best to follow the guidelines in place to help control COVID-19.
“In the past 54 years we have had many businesses and individuals support the biggest and best fireworks in West Central Indiana, and hope they will continue in years to come,” said Marvin Swick. “It would be great if those who have donated in the past would make a contribution to the FISH Food Pantry or some other non-profit they see fit.”
Committee members Swick, John Galloway, Darrell Birge, John Hudson, Roger Kunkel, Dave Short, Max Golden, Becca Scott and Barb Clark thank everyone for their past support and they hope to continue the festival in 2021.
