Dusk-to-Dawn Bereavement Services will celebrate 10 years of nonprofit service to the community with it’s 10th annual Harvest Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 4 at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 W. South Blvd. (across from Pizza Hut).
There will be many returning vendors as well as some new artisans showing their wares. The Harvest Festival offers shopping opportunities with something for everyone. A few vendor spaces are still available. Crafters and direct sales representatives are welcome. Those interested in an application for booth rental should email ckfdusk2dawn@gmail.com or visit www.dusk-to-dawn.org.
Proceeds from the Harvest Festival help provide grief counseling to friends and neighbors suffering losses by bridging the gap between the organization’s reduced fees and the actual cost of counseling services.
“While some changes are underway to meet the ever-growing demand coupled with the escalating costs of services, our core values at Dusk-to-Dawn remain steadfast,” said Cheryl Fuhrmann, founder and executive director. “We hold a firm commitment to provide high-quality professional services and the assurance that anyone seeking help will not be turned away. We can stand firm behind this commitment because of our many generous donors, grants, and your support of fundraising events like our Harvest Festival. It truly takes a village, and we are so very blessed to live in a community that has a heart for giving.”
Dusk to Dawn commemorative 10th anniversary T-shirts will be available for $10 and custom celebratory candles are two for $10. Surprise give-a-ways will take place throughout the event.
Numerous gift items are included in a silent auction. The lucky winners could take home a set of four Indy Eleven tickets ($120 value), or a handmade sweater, pillow and many more items coming in almost daily. Watch the group’s Facebook page for more sneak peeks. Tickets for the silent auction are $1 each. Buy $50 or more in tickets and receive an extra 10 tickets free. You need not be present to win.
