North Montgomery will honor former basketball coach Chuck Kriston at halftime of Friday’s varsity game against Seeger.
Kriston was the first coach at the school and won several sectional championships.
Former players are asked to attend the ceremony to be recognized at mid court beside their coach.
Kriston’s teams were offensive minded and actually led the state in team scoring in the 1972-1973 season. Kriston’s teams were 8-0 against Seeger during his time as coach.
