On Tuesday, the MXoN Local Organizing Committee announced Nucor will be the title sponsor of the MXoN parade to be held at 4 p.m. Oct. 3 downtown Crawfordsville.
The event will include marching bands and more. The international racing teams will be introduced in front of the courthouse.
The race will be a good way for residents to participate in the event without going to the track.
Businesses, schools and groups are being asked to enter floats. The theme of the floats needs to have an Americana twist to represent what is good in the United States.
The grand marshal will be Jeff Ward. Ward has won more MXoN trophies than any other rider from the United States.
