Ola Mae Mikesell, 82, of Crawfordsville passed away Friday evening, Feb. 12, 2021, at Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle.
She was born June 26, 1938, at Crawfordsville, to Olin Ernest and Frances Lucille McClure Swank. She married Robert Mikesell. He preceded her in death June 26, 2016.
Ola Mae had worked at JC Penneys, she then served as the custodian at the Nazarene Church in Crawfordsville for 12 years, then the custodian at the First United Methodist Church for over 30 years. She also owned Ola’s Flowers and Gifts in Crawfordsville for several years. Ola Mae was active in Kairos Prison Ministry as well as many other church ministries, and loved attend-ing her grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Brian) Bullerdick, Brenda Long and Rusty Allen; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.; and sister Donna Whitmer.
She was preceded in death by brother David Swank and sister Mary Tague.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday.
