They lived on a farm in Ladoga for over 50 years. Orville worked for Western Electric for 20 years, and then began dairy farming full time, and did so for 60 years. Jo was a homemaker until the children were grown, and then she worked for RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville. They were members of Parkersburg Christian Church. Both Orville and Jo loved spending time with their family and friends. They enjoyed farming, canning, and gardening.  Orville enjoyed watching sports and Jo like to embroider and sew. They shared a wonderful life together and leave behind many special memories for their family to treasure.

They were both preceded in death by their parents; several siblings; and daughter Barbara Ann Hendrix.
