Parker plans to retire from Lakeside

Scott Parker will retire from Lakeside Book Company on Jan. 3 after 37 years of service.

Parker began his career as a production planner in March of 1985. He worked on various project teams including business process redesign and red pepper. He then joined, what was then called the COMN System Project Team, in August of 2005. In 2010, he became part of the IT team as a business analyst.

Parker enjoys spending time with his wife Sharon, their son Max (Kristen) Parker, granddaughter Raelyn and their daughter Cassie (Brian) VerVaet.

His hobbies include watching spectator sports, listening to music, photography and traveling.
